Best Affiliate Link Cloaking Wordpress Plugin: Ninja Affiliate Plugin

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008 | Affiliated Marketing, Blogging Tools with 9 Comments

Ninja Affiliate Cloak Wordpress Plugin

Before I go on, this is not a paid review of any sort; this product is just simply worth it.

Everyone needs to cloak or mask their affiliate links nowadays because you don’t want them exposed with your referral ID number. But more importantly, you don’t want someone to hijack and redirect your affiliate links to theirs. You can avoid all of that and more with MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate Wordpress Plugin.

So, why should you cloak or hide your affiliate links?

If you’re a subscriber to Jonathan Volk you will remember he had this whole deal against Market Leverage because someone hijacked his affiliate links and redirected all of them to themselves. In essence, Jonathan was losing (or lost?) thousands of dollars because of it.

I think the problem was resolved and Market Leverage being the great affiliate network they are, definitely provided immediate attention to the situation.

Anyways, if you don’t cloak your affiliate links, people can replace yours with theirs and steal all of your money! Now, you don’t want that to happen, do you?

Well, Pawan of MaxBlogPress.com came out with this new affiliate link cloaking plugin titled “Ninja Affiliate.” First of all, it’s a great name but it doesn’t end there. The Ninja Affiliate Plugin will automatically convert your keywords within your posts and comments to a cloaked affiliate link.

It literally took me 30 seconds to upload the plugin but if I needed help, there’s an entire manual that will take you step by step through the entire process and what each feature does.

Are You Writing Too Many Paid Reviews?

Sunday, October 26th, 2008 | Blogging - MISC, Other/Random, Ramblings with 14 Comments

How many paid reviews are too many paid reviews? That question has been asked a lot since I started blogging and honestly, is there really a true answer?

There are tons of people who despise paid review posts on their favorite blogs, matter of fact, they find that as a turn-off. Since I started blogging, everyone kept telling me to focus on the content and don’t write too many paid reviews because it would take away the quality of the content for your readers.

On the other hand, people need some money in their pockets, right? But are you writing too many paid reviews? Is it going to hurt you more or less? Is the money really worth it?

Well, let me answer some of those questions in my own opinion.

Personally, I don’t mind reading a paid review on a blog that I read regularly but let’s say there should definitely be more regular posts than paid reviews. And if it’s even borderline 50/50, then that is way too many.

Again, I understand you need money and stuff, but is it really worth losing your readership over?

DatMoney Posts I Think Will Help You Make Money Online

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008 | Blogging - MISC, Make Money Online, Other/Random with 11 Comments

I was having a discussion the other day with a person that wanted me to help them make money online on their spare time. Of course, that is such a generic topic to explain because there are so many ways to make money online that I didn’t know where to start.

After explaining that there are endless ways to make money online, I just told her to go to DatMoney and read some of my posts. But if someone were to stop here for the first time, you probably wouldn’t see all the great, yet hidden, posts that will help you guys. So, I decided to make a list of posts I think will help you guys more than others.

I mean, there are a bunch of rants and ramblings between these informative posts so they get lost in the mix.

But here are a handful of posts I think will help starters as well as people that have been making money online for quite sometime now.

My E-mail Problems

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008 | Other/Random, Ramblings with 7 Comments

I know some of you guys have sent me some e-mails recently and if you didn’t get a reply from me that means the problems with my e-mails still exist.

I have a lot of e-mail accounts but the primary one for DatMoney.com is the same e-mail that is used on my contact form. Some people seem to get my e-mail just fine and others do not. I even tried to send e-mails to my other accounts to see which ones received it and which one did not.

From the last that I checked, gmail e-mail accounts should receive my e-mail just fine but yahoo e-mails doesn’t seem to be receiving any of them.

To make matters even worse, I get my comments forwarded to me whenever one is made, whenever one needs approval, etc and I haven’t received any at all. I just checked my comments and I had 10 comments that needed approval so I just wanted to apologize to those that commented and your comments didn’t show up instantly.

I’m still baffled on why I’m having such technical problems with things as well as problems in general (remember the post on why you should not rely on one source of income, well, still not fixed).

Anyways, sorry for the short post and delay in updating, I’ve been extremely busy and I’m trying to deal with a bunch of annoying problems. But I should be back with some great posts and informative ones that will help you guys out soon!

This is Why You Should Not Rely on One Source of Income

Sunday, October 19th, 2008 | Affiliated Marketing, Make Money Online, Ramblings with 13 Comments

I’ve been preaching this for quite sometime now, but you should never rely on one source of income. And if you do, more than likely it’s going to be hard on you, trust me!

A lot of people like using Google Adsense, affiliate networks, even paid reviews to make money but the unfortunate part is the fact that most pay on a monthly basis. And let’s say if something terrible happens and you don’t get paid, then aren’t you screwed?

So, let me tell you about my situation that just happened to me recently. But before I go on, I do not put all my eggs in one basket when it comes to making money online and revenue but I was expecting this check to come in to pay off a few things.

I did some affiliate marketing recently but not through an affiliate network or anything. I went straight through the company’s site because they simply paid more, plus, I don’t think any affiliate network had this particular “product.”
