I know site flipping has become a hot trend and if you’re going to get into it, you’re going to need to figure out how to monetize a site properly. Most buyers base how much they’re going to spend by the site’s monthly revenue and of course, the potential of the site.
I haven’t had any big sales, yet, only smaller ones for a few hundred here and there. Honestly, a few of them aren’t even eye catching at all but when it comes down to it, if your site is making money, you will have a buyer.
A lot of people have a hard time with monetizing a site but if you’re creative or if you’re able to network with other bloggers, I’m sure you’ll find a way. It’s not as hard as you think and even if you stay with the basics, you should be fine.
So, what are the basics?
I’m sure you guys are aware that I am in the site flipping contest in which we form a group, we all contribute to the site and then we sell the site. Well, our group is still going at it and we’re working hard. And I heard some of our competitors dropped out the contest which move us up in the rankings. Plus, don’t you want to see a blog made for site flipping in action?
Our site ListLunatic.com is a fun blog in which every post is basically, um, lists. Hey, I didn’t come up with the idea but I think it’s a great one. Matter of fact, I bet our site sells for somewhere in the $x,xxx range when we do in fact decide to sell it. (I think it’s going to be somewhere in the middle of this month?)
Anyways, I figured I’d remind you guys about this blog so you can check out an example of a site we’re going to flip. I mean, how many people actually tell you the specific site they’re going to sell before they actually sell it?
The best part of participating in a group site flip is the fact that you have a few people working on the site instead of one. So if you have four or five people in your group, you have potentially four or five times less work than if you were doing it by yourself. And you guys already know how lazy I am.
I mean, how much time do you dedicate to your personal blog? Don’t you ever wish you could have someone help you promote? Help you write posts? Help you with links? SEO? Etc?
Personally, I’m going to be teaming up with a couple of other habitual site flippers and bloggers for a group site flipping project after this one and hopefully things continue to work out like our current group.
I’m just curious, is anyone else interested in joining? 
I doubt any of you guys would be interested but I figured I’d ask. Of course, I can’t just accept anyone because I have a group to run it by, plus, we need someone pretty dedicated. You don’t have to be an expert but you need to be able to write, promote somewhat and most importantly, reliable.

The other day I mentioned I was going to build 10 Niche Websites in 10 Days , well, according to my schedule I would need to finish that by the end of this week and I doubt that’s going to happen because of my other projects (and day job). But currently, I’ve built five niche sites and I’m just going to go over the basics on what I did and how I did it.
Before I go on, I think there was some confusion about my mini-project. A couple of people e-mailed me saying they’re interested in my 10 niche website flips in 10 days. I’m not going to flip these sites in 10 days but rather just build them so if I wanted to flip them in the near future, I could. I’m not that advance in site flipping yet to sell 10 brand new sites build from scratch in 10 days.
I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while but I’ve been procrastinating so busy but I wanted to make this official so you guys can follow this.
Remember before when I talked a little bit about site flipping and I told you guys about my site flipping group and I was going to outline blueprints on how we went about doing things. Well, since that contest isn’t officially over until mid October (45 day long contest), I figured I would create 10 niche websites in 10 days and let you guys know how I did it.
I will not be revealing my URL’s (well, maybe one?) but I’ll talk about everything else. But I know building 10 niche sites can be done in one day but you have to factor in all the other projects I have as well as a day-time job and a social life.
There are two purposes for taking on this mini-project; to either sell the site or to just create a one-time set up site and just let it ride and make Adsense earnings without doing anything else from it.
Actually, maybe three purposes. I’m doing this as well so I can stop procrastinating and just do it.
I got some feedback on people interested in site flipping so instead of just having generic posts, I figured I’d let you guys just follow me in building 10 niche sites in 10 days. Don’t worry, I’ll reveal at least one site’s URL when I’m done.
The URL I reveal will probably be one that I’m going to sell (or hopefully already sold). People have left comments and stuff but if you need some personal help, feel free to drop me an e-mail or instant messenger. Some of you guys already have but I figured I’d open up the invitation to everyone.
Just a note I wanted to toss out there is the fact that I’m not claiming to be a professional site flipper or anything but I have enough knowledge and some experience to back it up. Plus, who else is willing to help you on a personal level with this?
First, you guys are probably going to read a lot of posts about site flipping in the next couple of weeks because I’m involved with a group site flipping project and I’m working for flipping a couple other sites as well.
