Remember when the Revolution WP themes were free? Well, I hope you guys all took advantage of downloading those prior to it going back to premium. I think it was towards the end of 2008 where the big buzz was the fact that all the Revolution WP themes were available for download for free but the catch was you was paying for the support.
All that changed in 2009 because all those themes are back to premium and you need to pay for them. But as I was looking around, it seems that if you downloaded it already when it was free, you are still available to use it (with no support, of course).
If I am wrong, someone please let me know.
But I was bringing a friend into the online money making world and we came up with a killer idea, killer domain name that is extremely brandable, killer plan, low competition and now we’re pretty much set to get things rolling.
There have been good things and bad things while working with others on joint ventures and I’ll probably post that at some other time. I’m actually hoping to get those posts out this week.
But anyways, we decided that we would use the Revolution themes to experiment with because it would make our site look professional and we kind of wanted a setup like Crack.com where we could have plenty of different options right on the homepage.
Plus, if you guys remember when we sold ListLunatic.com, that was a Revolution theme too. So, why change success and things that work, right?
A lot of people that I know have downloaded the Revolution themes before when it was free but of course, not many of us are css and html savvy. I think a lot of people postponed even attempting to use it simply because they didn’t know how to change anything to make it custom to what they want. Well, there are plenty of useful articles that I have found to support Revolution themes for customizing but the main one you need to know is:
Set Up Your Blog with Revolution Magazine Theme
Forest is definitely knowledgable when it comes to design work with websites and I’m sure you guys remember him being part of our team that sold ListLunatic.com… matter of fact, he was the one that made that killer header for that site.
But this is your opportunity to try out the Revolution WP theme that you downloaded months and months ago when it was free.
What are you waiting for… try it out!

Before I go on, this is not a paid review of any sort; this product is just simply worth it.
Everyone needs to cloak or mask their affiliate links nowadays because you don’t want them exposed with your referral ID number. But more importantly, you don’t want someone to hijack and redirect your affiliate links to theirs. You can avoid all of that and more with MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate Wordpress Plugin.
So, why should you cloak or hide your affiliate links?
If you’re a subscriber to Jonathan Volk you will remember he had this whole deal against Market Leverage because someone hijacked his affiliate links and redirected all of them to themselves. In essence, Jonathan was losing (or lost?) thousands of dollars because of it.
I think the problem was resolved and Market Leverage being the great affiliate network they are, definitely provided immediate attention to the situation.
Anyways, if you don’t cloak your affiliate links, people can replace yours with theirs and steal all of your money! Now, you don’t want that to happen, do you?
Well, Pawan of MaxBlogPress.com came out with this new affiliate link cloaking plugin titled “Ninja Affiliate.” First of all, it’s a great name but it doesn’t end there. The Ninja Affiliate Plugin will automatically convert your keywords within your posts and comments to a cloaked affiliate link.
It literally took me 30 seconds to upload the plugin but if I needed help, there’s an entire manual that will take you step by step through the entire process and what each feature does.
I’m sure a majority of webmasters and bloggers use or used Adsense at some point in time. And if you make a decent earning from it or if you barely make anything, wouldn’t you want to know which keywords would maximize your earnings the most? But more importantly, focus on the best paying ones? Well, try Google’s Traffic Estimator and it’ll help you with some high paying targeted keywords.
If you have a niche site then this should be a lot easier to do, especially since you have a majority of keywords you know you want to use before hand. For instance, if you have a Make Money Online blog, your main keyword should be “make money online” right? And when you write posts, I’m sure you include that particular term quite a few times.
Let’s use that as our example.
First, go to Google’s Traffic Estimator and type in various keywords that you usually use or are thinking about using. I typed in “make money online”, “making money online” and “earn money online” as you can see in the screenshot below (you can click on the image to see the full-screen). You can also set the options for different currencies, regions, etc.
Remember how the other day I mentioned that list of dofollow social bookmarking sites that will help you with backlink juices? Well, I also said I would write a post on how to submit to a bunch of those in 5 minutes (and I got some requests as well… and one spoiler lol) But here it is.
Since there are about 19 dofollow social bookmarking sites that I know of currently, there’s a very easy way to submit to all of them in less than 5 minutes. You go to socialmarker.com and it lets you enter in all the “bookmark details” and after that, it’s just a matter of clicking submit.
Okay, maybe it’s not that easy. Like I said before, you have to register accounts with each of those social bookmarking sites before you use socialmarker.com. After you have done so, it’s just a matter of filling in the details of your post title, post URL, text and tags.
After you fill out that quick form, all you have to do is click submit, next, submit, next and BAM! You’re done in less than 5 minutes… well, only if you’re doing the dofollow social bookmarking ones. Matter of fact, socialmarker.com also sorts it for you by clicking on a simple “dofollow” button.
You can also sort by the best social bookmarking (as in the most popular), news and all.
Personally, I aim for the dofollow ones because it actually gives more backlink juices to help your posts out in search engines.
Don’t get me wrong, you could submit to all of them and it’ll take less than 15 minutes to do. And if you do, your posts will also get indexed in Google a lot faster as well!
Now, for those of you guys who never knew about these types of sites, you can also make money from this.
How you ask?
Well, a lot of people are lazy *cough* Jason a.k.a. The University Kid *cough* but there are people willing to pay you for submitting their articles to social bookmarking and media sites. To these individuals who don’t know about these easy ways of submitting, you can take advantage of that (and no, there’s nothing wrong with helping a lazy person out).
If you guys have never heard of Orkut, then I guess these Free Orkut themes mean nothing to you. But it’s a social networking site and I heard it can bring in some good traffic (particularly traffic outside the U.S.) for those who are interested. But this post isn’t going to be describing how to get traffic from it, but instead, what Orkut is and also I’ll be including a bunch of free Orkut themes that I have found for you guys who are interested in checking it out.
And if you are looking for a lot of traffic outside of the United States, well, the website is most visited by Brazil and second most by India. Matter of fact, over half of Orkut’s users are from Brazil.
If you haven’t checked them out, it’s definitely another great source for traffic. But you need to set up your page so this is where the free Orkut themes come into play.
