StoreStacker: The Affiliate Niche Store Builder

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 | Affiliated Marketing, DM Reviews with 9 Comments

StoreStacker the affiliate niche store builder

The following is a paid review in my honest opinion. Being paid is good but it does not influence the review. If you’re interested in a review of your site or product, please visit my advertising page .

I know a lot of people are interested to jump into affiliate marketing and if you don’t know where to begin, well, StoreStacker can definitely help you out in more ways than one.

As I was checking out StoreStacker.com , it impressed me because it literally sets you up with an affiliate online store or website within minutes. So, if setting up landing pages was your biggest concern for getting into affiliate marketing, well, you’ve just crossed off another thing off your list for getting started.

But that’s not even the best part, all the affiliate products are imported to your site or store automatically . I know what you’re thinking, “I don’t want just random products all imported.” And you don’t have to worry either. With StoreStacker , the user is in complete control of everything that includes the product listings (in which you have access to over 10 million products) for whatever niche you want, the content, how the site looks and so on.

As a StoreStacker user, you also have the ability to import on-topic videos from Youtube as well as relevant articles from any RSS Feed source. And if I read currently, they’re one of the only sites who actually does that. Additionally, they have videos to guide you through the entire process. I know I’m a visual type of person so that definitely helps!

Don’t worry, it gets better. Personally, I’m one of the laziest people you will meet so getting everything as automated as possible is what my goal is (and it should be yours too!). For instance, they have an automatic SEO and content updater for your site which takes off all the stress of trying to get ranked in Google.

StoreStacker.com is definitely an interesting way of starting your affiliate career and you can be extremely profitable as well. Most BANS or store-generating tools seem to only have eBay for products but StoreStacker much more including Amazon, Clickbank, Overstock and more.

Best Affiliate Link Cloaking Wordpress Plugin: Ninja Affiliate Plugin

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008 | Affiliated Marketing, Blogging Tools with 11 Comments

Ninja Affiliate Cloak Wordpress Plugin

Before I go on, this is not a paid review of any sort; this product is just simply worth it.

Everyone needs to cloak or mask their affiliate links nowadays because you don’t want them exposed with your referral ID number. But more importantly, you don’t want someone to hijack and redirect your affiliate links to theirs. You can avoid all of that and more with MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate Wordpress Plugin.

So, why should you cloak or hide your affiliate links?

If you’re a subscriber to Jonathan Volk you will remember he had this whole deal against Market Leverage because someone hijacked his affiliate links and redirected all of them to themselves. In essence, Jonathan was losing (or lost?) thousands of dollars because of it.

I think the problem was resolved and Market Leverage being the great affiliate network they are, definitely provided immediate attention to the situation.

Anyways, if you don’t cloak your affiliate links, people can replace yours with theirs and steal all of your money! Now, you don’t want that to happen, do you?

Well, Pawan of MaxBlogPress.com came out with this new affiliate link cloaking plugin titled “Ninja Affiliate.” First of all, it’s a great name but it doesn’t end there. The Ninja Affiliate Plugin will automatically convert your keywords within your posts and comments to a cloaked affiliate link.

It literally took me 30 seconds to upload the plugin but if I needed help, there’s an entire manual that will take you step by step through the entire process and what each feature does.

This is Why You Should Not Rely on One Source of Income

Sunday, October 19th, 2008 | Affiliated Marketing, Make Money Online, Ramblings with 18 Comments

I’ve been preaching this for quite sometime now, but you should never rely on one source of income. And if you do, more than likely it’s going to be hard on you, trust me!

A lot of people like using Google Adsense, affiliate networks, even paid reviews to make money but the unfortunate part is the fact that most pay on a monthly basis. And let’s say if something terrible happens and you don’t get paid, then aren’t you screwed?

So, let me tell you about my situation that just happened to me recently. But before I go on, I do not put all my eggs in one basket when it comes to making money online and revenue but I was expecting this check to come in to pay off a few things.

I did some affiliate marketing recently but not through an affiliate network or anything. I went straight through the company’s site because they simply paid more, plus, I don’t think any affiliate network had this particular “product.”

Getting Back into Affiliate Marketing Soon!

Thursday, October 9th, 2008 | Affiliated Marketing, Ramblings with 14 Comments

With so many projects and so many things going on right now, I had to push a few things aside. And when I push things aside, I tend to forget to get myself back into it. Well, one of the many things I had to push aside was affiliate marketing. But I will be getting back into it within the next month.

There were a few reasons why I pushed affiliate marketing aside but one of the main reasons was the fact that affiliate marketing is a business where you have to spend money to make money. And recently, I had projects that didn’t require me spending a dime so I put that as my priority.

Most, if not all, super affiliates use PPC click ads as their main source of getting traffic to their landing pages. You spend $1,000 and try to double that profit. Well, I was working on other projects to save money so I could invest my time into it.

I’m no expert but I feel I’m more than capable of making $x,xxx profit strictly from affiliate marketing. Of course, no one really starts off making a profit (from PPC affiliate marketing) but we’ll see what I can do.

I’m also getting back into affiliate marketing because I felt I was letting a lot of people down. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure no one has been disappointed in me for working on projects that was giving me great revenue to begin with but then again, there are so many people wanting to know more. And let’s not forget all these affiliate networks out there and great companies, especially Market Leverage .

Honestly, Market Leverage has been the most supporting affiliate company that I have ever dealt with. Trust me, it’s not because they sponsor great gifts for my contests or purchase advertising, they really are there to help you as much as they can. I’ve dealt with a handful of people from the ML crew and every single person has been great.

Yes, I’m brown-nosing a bit but they definitely deserve every compliment they get.

Besides letting some readers and affiliate networks down, I let a few other people I know in person down as well. I was supposed to help people from my experience but it didn’t happen like I wanted it to. And honestly, I don’t want to be one of those people who has the knowledge but just never takes the time out to actually focus and work on it.

Are you one of those types?

I mean, I’ve written over 200+ posts on here and a majority of them are actually useful. At least, I think so. I mean, I talked about site flipping a bit, how to increase your Adsense earnings, increasing your RSS Feed subscribers, a little SEO, I mean, the list goes on. And I’m sure if you only read just a few of these posts, you’ll make at least a few hundred, or even thousands of dollars with minimal work.

But besides making money, you can also avoid losing money as I tend to write a few things to avoid as well.

Either way, I don’t want to be one of those types of people that have the knowledge and talent but are too damn lazy. So, after I finish my list of projects, I will reinvest my time into affiliate marketing.

And so should you !

I Officially Started my Affiliated Marketing Campaigns

Monday, June 16th, 2008 | Affiliated Marketing with 4 Comments

Nemo Shark for Affiliated Marketing

I know I said I was going to start my affiliated marketing career a while back but hey, I procrastinated a little more than I should have. I don’t know why I procrastinated as much as I did but I finally took the dive into the affiliated marketing waters with the big sharks fishes. Now, let’s see how it goes.

Okay, so technically, I did do some affiliated marketing before as I used this blog as a landing page and I had quite a bunch of people who were willing to sign up through my affiliated links – whatever it was. Though, the links were all related to my niche like paid review sites, affiliate companies, etc so my readers were kind enough to sign up through my referrals.

But that just wasn’t enough because my blog isn’t as big as I want it to be. And that’s fine with me; I don’t need thousands of people following me and all that extra exposure of fame. I rather be the director in this movie than the actor, the man simply behind the scenes, the one who makes tons of money but no one really knows who he is.

And so I started…

So, I officially created my first landing page. It’s pretty basic and the idea actually came from Zac Johnson, he created a landing page template for his readers. Yes, I downloaded it too but instead of using his, I took his example and the information he supplied and did some research of my own.

With the information and landing page example, I found lots and lots of other landing pages throughout my research. I decided to do a mixture of all those landing pages into one and that’s how I begun my affiliated marketing campaign. And I actually didn’t go with the campaign he suggested because I figured all of his 3,000+ RSS Feed subscribers would potentially try the same thing.

Lots of competition = not a good chance for me which = high CPC costs if I did PPC advertising for that specific campaign.

affiliate_noobNow, I know this is not going to be easy because I will be testing out a few different methods (all legit ways) which will also include PPC advertising, but I’m going to hold off on that for a little bit; especially since I’m a noob, I’m going to be doing a lot of trial-and-error.

Out of all the reading, researching, testing that I have done so far, the best way is to be creative. Now, all the super affiliates like Zac Johnson, Paul of Uberaffiliate, Jonathon Volk, etc mainly use PPC advertising and spend thousands on it. That is probably the quickest and easiest way, but if you don’t have that type of money to spend, then this is where your creativity takes place.

You want to utilize all the sources you can possibly use. Yes, it’s going to be harder. And yes, it’s going to take more time and effort. But if you don’t have a lot of money to spend and you want to get into affiliated marketing, then I guess you really have no choice, huh?

Instead of cramming all that information in this one post, I’ll stretch out what I have tested. I mean, I’m a creative person so I’ll find ways.

Of course around the same time I begun my affiliate marketing campaign, I have also seen quite a bunch of bloggers like Tyler Cruz, Gyutae of Winningtheweb, Jason of the Theuniversitykid (he hit his first $1,000/day), etc taking on the affiliated marketing recently (or earlier before but finally mentioned it on their blog) and I wish them all luck, of course, not too much luck if they’re going to be running the same campaigns as me. :P
