How to Get $10 Per Click with Adsense

Ten Dollar Bill

People are always looking for the highest paying keywords to try to build a niche around but that doesn’t always work, does it? Well, what if I told you there’s a way on how to get $10 per click with Adsense? And believe it or not, it’s not as hard as you might think. I guess you just have to look in the right places and analyze your stats.

Let me start off by saying that I can’t guarantee you’ll get $10/click with Adsense. Sometimes it’ll be more but I think a majority of the time it’ll be less. On top of that, we, as publishers, will never know exactly how much we will get per click. It always varies depending on advertisers. But either way, it should definitely be more than a few pennies per click which I’m sure a lot of people end up with.

I’m always analyzing my stats so I know where to improve and what I should focus on more. And a good part of my income comes from Adsense so I tend to focus on that more than any other monetizing methods. Well, last week I was just checking my stats and noticed that one post on another one of my blogs got one click for $10 and some change. I was really surprised and then within the next week, I kept checking back on the stats for that one post and it was averaging close to $3/click afterward.

If you guys don’t know how to check your Adsense earnings by individual pages/posts, check go to your Google Analytics Dashboard and click on “Content” from the left hand side then click on “Adsense”. That’s where you can track which posts/pages are bringing you the most revenue.

Keep in mind, you have to insert the Google tracking code on those pages. What I do is just insert them into my single post, page template and main index templates.

And if you don’t analyze your stats and focus on what works and what doesn’t, you should. I mean, that’s how I increased my Adsense earnings by 40 percent and if I did that earlier this year, I would have almost doubled my income from it!

So, don’t wait and more importantly, don’t just sit there and do nothing. Take action!

Wait, I’m forgetting something… oh yeah, how to get these expensive clicks. All you have to do is focus on the biggest things out there right now. For instance, if you see an ongoing story on the news all the time or the hot topic all over the internet, that’s probably what you want to focus on.

Let me give you an example: the entire Tiger Woods scandal.

tiger woods scandal

That story has been going on for weeks now and it’s still on the news. It might be annoying to most of us but to others, it’s intriguing. And since there’s a large crowd that’s “intrigued” by this, others are trying to make money by promoting things with PPC marketing and are willing to spend a lot to get on the frontpage for those specific keywords.

And yes, as high as $10/click and probably even more. And whether it’s by mistake or on purpose, you should be trying to benefit from this as well.

You see where I’m going with this?  That was just an example and I’m sure your creative minds will use this information to think out the box to benefit even more.

Anyways, I hope this has helped somewhat and if you have any questions, feel free to ask them below!

Well, I am still waiting for that first check from Adsense, it seems a bit harder to make money from Adsense than from affiliate marketing generally, however it DOES depend on the website and niche, but Adsense is quite a difficult way for a beginner like me.

Excellent post Jay, I’m really into checking my adsense keywords just within the past 4-5 months. I think it’s something we should be checking or at least start to learn how to get into our Google network system and start looking around. There is soo much in there to learn and look at and I’m afraid there are people out there who are overlooking or are afraid of messing around in the Google dashboard. Google can be very intimidating in itself…just do it!! Thanks for the great info. And here’s hoping I find the $10 keyword. lol jj

That’s amazing figure which seems hard to reach. I never received single click which was more than $3. Is it depending to the keywords too?

They most likely believed either you were clicking your own links or having others do it for you.

10 bucks a click for a news story seems crazy. I wonder how googles quality score impacts news topics since they can never really be too relative to promoting products like teeth whitening…

Very Intersting Jay and I thought all you could get was a few cents with adsense. Thats about all I made when I have tried it out. I agree with you though. Write about a hot topic and the advertisers pay to be on the front page.

For a while I would search google trends pick a hot topic and write a post about it. One particular post that I wrote about when it was hot was Mystery Google. That particular post that I wrote has received over 1500 views. Way more than any other post that I have wrote. And if you look at the post itself it is very short. I haven’t monopolized on it, but maybe I should. Although its not really a hot trend anymore.

It just goes to show you that if you write about it, a hot trend that is, they will come.

Your post makes me think I should write more about hot trends.

    Thanks

I never thought clicks from adsense ads would reach that much. I think this depends on the advertisements showing.

The biggest amount in my case was 0.75$.

    I guess I just didn’t pick a good niche for Adsense…

But I rather go for quantity, I aim to establish a blog that will get 4-5 thousand visitors from variety of sources, Google is the best, and get more of those “few cents” clicks, which add up to the sum.

I am not quite sure how this works.. what you are saying is we need to cover more “hot topics” in our blogs to get the big money from ad sense?

Thanks for all the great information you provide… I will say I am very disappointed that I never recieved the password to checkout your adsense post… I did not sign up several months ago just because of that but because I really found value in your information.

I will say that you should follow through better on what you promise to provide. I think I have waited way over the time. I hope you read this post and the only reason I am posting here in this manner is because I have sent you a private email a and never got a response.

Thanks again for providing such a wealth of information on this blog.

$10 per click seems really high, maybe it is possible in some niches. The niche I am in the clicks are a lot cheaper so it takes a lot more traffic.
