AwigaMedia.com – Out With The Old In With The New

Friday, December 4th, 2009 | Affiliated Marketing, DM Reviews with 11 Comments

The following is a paid review in my honest opinion. Being paid is good but it does not influence the review. If you’re interested in a review of your site or product, please visit my advertising page.

So, recently I was approached by a brand new affiliate marketing company, AwigaMedia, and they wanted to step it up and get people involved and try to beat out some existing companies. Well, maybe not beat out but definitely give a few more benefits and incentives for joining them to product affiliate products instead.  And when I was checking it out, they do have some very good benefits compared to any other affiliate marketing company I have joined.

Before I go on with the review, feel free to give AwigaMedia a try today.  But if you need more information, keep reading!

Quick Background on AwigaMedia

You guys might not have heard of AwigaMedia before but that’s because they literally opened up in October. That’s less than two months ago! They are located in the Big Apple, New York City and their plan is to become of the biggest companies out there.

Notice how I didn’t just say affiliate companies?

It seems as though they’re in stage one which is always a major step. But so far, they seem to be doing just fine.

Now that we got a quick background, let’s jump straight into the pros and cons, shall we?

Why AwigaMedia is Better Than Other Affiliate Companies I’ve Seen

Every affiliate company tries to better or separate themselves for the pack. Some people offer a slightly higher payouts. Some offer a better referral percentage. Some are just known for having great customer service to help you.

Bi-weekly Payouts - Well, right out of the gates, I see a few perks and benefits that I haven’t seen from other companies that I have worked with before. The first one is the fact that they payout bi-weekly with a minimum of $50 USD. Most affiliate companies I know only payout on a monthly basis so getting paid every other week is definitely a little better.

Personally, I was never a big fan of waiting a month or a month and a half for a check. If I did, I would’ve tried to become a professor at some big name university!

Great Stat Tracking – Now the other factor that stands out to me that I like is their tracking system. They use a hasoffers platform and if you do a simple search for it, you would see a lot of great reviews for it.

But that’s just the platform… when I logged into the site, they have various stat tracking options that include hourly, daily, conversation source reports, etc. (Check out the screenshot below)

awigamedia stat tracking

I know you guys are thinking “So what? What’s the big deal? Everyone has stat tracking available” I guess the difference is the fact that its easily there for you without you needing to put additional codes at the end of your affiliate URLs. And we all know analyzing your stats is needed to cross out what doesn’t work and focus on what does. Since its easily there for you, analyzing your stats can even save you time.

I haven’t had a chance to actually test it out for myself because I have been somewhat MIA from AM for a while. But you guys can test it out and let me know your results, I’ll post it on here as a testimonial.

Best Converting Offers Available - As I was writing this review, I also noticed something else. The offers that are provided are supposedly the best ones out there so you get the most out of your time and money. When I say “best” I mean the best converting offers.

But again, I’m not a super duper uber pro affiliate marketer so I’m probably not the best person to ask on what the best converting offers are. But that’s what I have been reading.

Contests – Who doesn’t want to win things? Well, it seems they had a contest to kick start their opening of the website with some good prizes such as iPods and Flip Minos. Though, that particular contest ended at the end of November, I’m sure they will have more contests to come.

My Suggestions

Since this is a full review in my honest opinion, I figured I would toss out some helpful suggestions in my own eyes. They aren’t necessarily negatives but just my opinions on what I’m not too fond of or things I think would help affiliates with using the system.

The Homepage is Missing Something – I’m not sure exactly what it is but I almost feel like there needs to be more content, links, FAQs or something. Before people commit to signing up, I’m sure they want to go through the entire site to read about the perks, benefits, the FAQs and so on.

Not Many Offers… Yet – The downfall to a brand new company is the fact that its new. With that said, they have to start from somewhere and right now they have somewhere around 30 offers available for affiliate to promote.

See, I wouldn’t say that’s a “con” but personally, I like a wide variety of offers to choose from.

And lastly…

Banners/Ads for the Offers – I’m wondering where are they? I know a lot of people simply do PPC search marketing but there are a lot of people who also need the banners or creatives to display on their own sites too.

Maybe I’m just blind but I only could find the affiliate links, previews, info and tracking but I didn’t see where the images are.

Conclusion

They are a brand new company and if you’re willing to give them a chance and they do become of the biggest things out there, then wouldn’t it be cool to say you’ve been with them since the beginning? I mean, a lot of people are still saying that with Facebook and Myspace.

So, I went through the pros and cons on what I have seen, you can feel free to give AwigaMedia a try today. And if you have any questions, they provide 24/7 support and I’m sure they will answer any questions you may have.

I would just like to say thanks for the great review Jay. We are currently working on a new web design with all the works which should be live at the end of this month. We understand that the Hasoffers platform is relatively new to most affiliates, because of this we are launching tutorial videos on how to find generate tracking links, creatives and web banners. We are also going to be launching a contest in the beginning of next year along with a referral program. If anyone is interested in our network, our screen name on aim is AwigaMedia
    Thanks

I think it’s awesome to get in at the start, especially if they accept comments/suggestions from starter affiliates.

This is great review and it does seem somthing better than any other affiliate companies i have seen but it still needs something to improve itself and that can be achieved soon.

I don’t know what it looked like before but it seems pretty good. Except there are a few dead links but I guess its because its new, right?

Great review with this new affiliate marketing company. Well, for two months maybe few people might know them already and products are just too few to promote. But what’s amazing is the payout, bi-week with the minimum of $50.

The bi-weekly pay and better stat tracking (which all affiliate networks need by now) is enough to make them stand out.

In my experience it is best to go with companies that have been around for a while. Most new affiliate companies experience problems with tracking (even the big ones) and that costs!

Just kinda of a random comment, for some reason their logo reminded me of entrecard, perhaps its the color combination.

    Till then,
