So, I recently purchased the OIO Publisher plugin for DatMoney and I honestly have no idea why I didn’t do it before. And before I go on, you guys can get the OIO Publisher coupon code and save up to $20 just by purchasing it through my referral link. But keep reading to find the details on that.

So, Why OIO Publisher?

Well, since I didn’t make a sale on DatMoney, I decided that I would step up my game to further my blog. And one of the first changes I decided to make was to purchase the OIO Publisher plugin to help me with selling private ads here. But this plugin goes way beyond just that.

After I purchased OIO Publisher and installed it, I was so impressed with all the features it brings that I had to post about it. And the most important part of it was the fact that it’s made for lazy people like me who has a hard time handling everything manually. Plus, it saves me a lot of time that I could be spending wisely on something more important.

This basically helps me save a lot of time because advertisers can purchase the spot, upload their own banner ad image and pay for it.  The only thing I really need to do is approve of it once I receive the e-mail stating an advertiser is interested in purchasing.

So, besides helping my laziness out saving me time, this also tracks the amount of clicks each banner is getting.  You can automatically report these stats to your advertiser so they can decide whether to renew or not or you can use these stats to get more advertisers.

Wait, there’s more… now tracking for payment, taxes and stats just got a lot easier because everything is automated and it keeps all the records that you need.

How Can OIO Publisher Help Me?

Besides the obvious in not needing to manually add banner ads and going through the hassle of all that stuff (plus everything I just mentioned), OIO Publisher plugin can actually help you get more advertisers. The thing I didn’t know about purchasing OIO Publisher is the fact that they have an entire marketplace for advertisers to search through to find blogs like yours.

So essence, you’re also getting exposure for your blog for future long-term advertisers. Did I mention that this is easy and for people who want to save time? I mean, what more can you want when it does the things you wanted it to plus they help you find advertisers?  It’s a win win if you ask me.

Save Up to $20 and Make Your Money Back!

The original price is $47 and even if you paid the full amount, it’s well worth it because you’d make that entire amount back quickly. The reason is they have an affiliate program which pays you 50% of the commission. So, make two sales and you get your money back instantly.

But since you guys are my loyal readers and subscribers, I decided that I would go above and beyond trying to help you guys out. First, if you sign up through my referral link and use the OIO Publisher coupon code TERRA-DATMONEY, you’ll knock off $10 from the purchase.

And I decided to give an additional $10 rebate from my own pockets (paid through Paypal) to you guys for purchasing it through my referral link. So, not only will you get this plugin for $27, you’ll only have to make one sale through their affiliate program to make your money back.

Please note: To get the additional $10 rebate, please e-mail me with your OIO Publisher username and Paypal e-mail address. These will be paid out within 14 days of the purchase.

So, what are you guys waiting for? I’m going to take my blog to the next level… now shouldn’t you?

What is Labor Day? Why Do We Celebrate Labor Day?

why do we celebrate labor day

So, what is Labor Day? Why do we celebrate Labor Day? Well, I decided to go a different route in today’s post simply because tomorrow is Labor Day and since none of us should really be working on that day, I figured I’d at least go over what it is. I mean, it’s the least I could do since it’s one day out of the year that we do not have to work… and most of us get paid for the holiday.

Labor Day is always the first Monday of September. So, September 07, 2009 is this year’s Labor Day.

The definition of Labor Day is as described:

Labor Day is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

I think a majority of my readers are from the United States so basically we’re all celebrating with a well-deserved day off. And this is why this post comes the day before because I won’t be spending too much time working online on Monday.

Supposedly, the holiday came from Canada out of labor disputes in the “Nine-Hour Movement”. But don’t think the U.S. steals from Canada. :P

The Auction is Over And…

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 | Ramblings, Site Flipping with 18 Comments

So, the blog auction ended the other day and as of right now, there was no purchase. But that doesn’t mean it is officially over. The reason is the fact that apparently after your listing ends on flippa.com with no purchase, then your listing gets sent over to “private listings” for the next six months.

Now, I had a few serious bidders but it doesn’t seem as though any of them wanted to meet my reserve price so I am still here. I actually turned away a few paid reviews as well as a couple of advertisers in anticipation of a sale so I could send them over to the new owner but it looks like that won’t need to happen.

Luckily for me, there are companies that get response from my paid reviews and private ads that they continue to come back. :D

A commentator, Jon, mentioned that there was a drawback from why a potential buyer wouldn’t purchase DatMoney and its simply because I mentioned I was starting a new blog. I think there was a slight misunderstanding on that part because he (and I’m assuming others) thought it was just going to be a new entrepreneur blog. But I mentioned that it was going to be a more personal blog and not necessarily focused all on online entrepreneurship and making money.

I was just mentioning the fact of starting that type of blog so people can keep in touch with me if they wanted to. I’m hoping my subscribers stay with the potential new owner because I believe everyone has a chance to prove themselves. And if my subscribers approve, they will stay. If not, then it’s just like any other subscriber for any blog.

In addition, people subscribe for various blogs for different reasons.  But the most important part is the content.  So, if anybody was to take over and continued good content then they shouldn’t worry.

But I’m trying to get coordinated once again because I had a lot of switches I made, primarily with my hosting, e-mails, etc.  So, if you sent me an e-mail and I have yet to respond, more than likely I haven’t received it yet because some minor issues transferring my e-mails from my host to my computer. Update: If you sent me an e-mail to the datmoney account, you might have received a bounce back.  I believe I fixed the issue so please resend it.  Thanks!

Anyways, I’m still in talks with some private bidders but as of right now, I will stay be here. I will still be updating DatMoney. And yes, I will try to keep you guys entertained!

Stay tuned!  Don’t change that dial… or is it type in a different URL?
