Hey Datmoney, I must tell you that for those of your readers who are just upgrading to Wordpress 2.8.4 should definitely do it right away, as you said there is a worm that is attacking the older Wordpress versions. These hackers will bring you blog to a stand still and you will get marked with a “Reported Attack Site” and then you will have to work to get your blog back online. Mine was down for almost 4 days (not making money when your blog is off line remember) and I had to do a lot of work with Hostgator and Google as they are the ones that you beg to check your site and let them know that you have cleaned all malware from your blog. Then you wait for Google to view your blog and let you know if they think it is clean before they put you back on-line. I have a very interesting “guest post” about the workings of Malware virus so if anyone wants to check it out and learn a little more or would like to add any advice please feel free. I think it’s important for all of us to protect our blogs from these guys who are making money from our blogs by hacking into them. Also why on earth if the rumor is true are you selling your blog? Do tell, you have a great thing going here and looks like a lot of ideas in the works so why leave us now?

I need to update to 2.8.4 as well. Did you do it manually or did you just click on the “WordPress 2.8.4 is available! Please update now.” link in your dashboard? Some people think one is better than the other and blah blah blah….
