I figured I’d address this now before I get a bunch of e-mails or comments about people not receiving the passwords to my protected posts. And sorry for so many posts within the same week regarding the password protected posts.
As you guys know, I sent out the password(s) to every e-mail subscriber the other night. I sent to every single person that was active based on the list I downloaded. So, if you were on that list and were active before those posts went active, then you should have gotten it.
Now, for those who didn’t receive the password to the protected posts, it was probably due to one of the following reason:
You Subscribed After I Downloaded My List – I believe I downloaded the list early on July 14th and if you were pending during that time, you probably didn’t receive the password. You’ll get it on the next batch that gets sent out.
Your E-mail is Invalid or Full - I got a couple of bounce backs saying some peoples inboxes were full or it was simply an invalid e-mail. Though, that is pretty odd because if you are subscribed and receiving the e-mails then I would have gotten the bounce back a long time ago.
Your a Habitual Unsubscriber - If you’re an unsubscriber/resubscriber then you probably didn’t get the e-mail with the passwords either. Is it fair? You can flip a coin on that. But if you unsubscribe and resubscribe, unsubscribe and resubscribe… well, more than likely you’re not a loyal subscriber and are simply trying to get the password/enter contests/whatever.
Now a bunch of people informed me they were unsubscribing for X reasons but potentially keeping me in their RSS Feed readers, you should have been included. It’s for those who seem to just are all about themselves and subscribe only to get the password and nothing else.
It Got Stuck on my Servers Queue - I don’t know what it means but I received an e-mail from my hosting server saying some e-mails have not been delivered yet and its still in queue. It says nothing is required on my part as they will continue to try and send it out.
So, I guess I’ll have to apologize for my hosting to those couple of e-mail subscribers.
Have You Checked Your Spam Filter? It shouldn’t be in your spam filter but you never know. I get a lot of real e-mails that get filtered to my spam folder and they’re all legit. Again, it doesn’t hurt to double check your spam filter.
I think those are the main reasons why you probably didn’t receive the e-mail I sent with the passwords. I’ve seen a bunch of comments and received a few e-mails letting me know they have received it so I know it went out just fine.

When popularity grows and there appears a little trafiic in Your subscribe system there will always be someone harmed becaus it is impossible to do everything right. Do not lose faith and still make that good job of Yours.

Those who have subscribed to your blog in rss readers have not get the password? Just asking since I didnt receive any email from you with the password of the $70000 sold blog post.
If possible resend it to me on the email I use to comment or on the email I had subscribe to your blog via email once… As I mentioned previously I removed the email subscribtion because I do not like blog posts in my email.. However I still have you on my reader.
Maybe you sent the pass.. and it got to spam.. i usually just clear all spam without checking. If possible resend it. Thanks.
Kurt – That is correct. People who subscribe via RSS readers did not get the password. It’s because I have no idea who is actually subscribed, I can’t verify any of them and have no way of contacting those people. So, to answer your question, you probably didn’t get the e-mail to the password.

Well, I am one of those readers for whom probably this post was written. It has been 2-3 weeks since I subscribed and guess it’s the first reason above why Im yet to receive the password.
Anyway, I must clarify that in the first place I didn’t subscribe you just to get the password and thus earn a LOT of money! I was just curious to see your method that worked for you (and few others). So I guess I can wait for the password and it is fine if it takes time.
P.S. I like your posts. New to your blog but loving it more as I am digging further. Keep mailing those updates to my inbox. Cheers! :0
