Nowadays, it looks like everyone is a spammer. I mean, there are various tactics to spam but in the long run, it’s basically delivering unwanted information. So, after an interesting observation this morning, I had to question if the new owner of Bloggin-Ads.com was a spammer or not.
Remember just the other day when I was mentioning how Akismet can give you some great keywords, well, apparently if you pay attention enough, it can make you question other webmasters reputations as well.
I was just looking for legit comments in my spam filter to find tons of spam linking directly to bloggin-ads’ forum. Of course, there wasn’t just one but there were tons of them.
I decided that I would take some screenshots (which you can see below) so you guys can witness it for yourself. And for the record, there are probably like 20-30 of these in my spam filter.
and…
As you can see, someone from “loansbank.net” with the IP address of “193.254.234.60″ seems to be spamming a lot. Now, I honestly don’t think someone with a decent enough reputation in the Blogosphere would spam like this because you know damn right you will be caught and blasted for it.
But then again, you never know nowadays…
I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn’t the spammer because he’ll be ruining his reputation deliberately. But that doesn’t hold him back from being innocent because he could be associated in some way with a true spammer.
To be fair, everyone is associated with a spammer but the difference is knowing the fact and not knowing. For instance, if he were to have paid someone to do this for him for a small fee, he’s just as bad as the spammer.
On the other hand, if he didn’t then he’s not at fault at all.
So, which one is it?
I don’t like to put people out there (although it’s fun sometimes) but I figured we get this stuff out in the open. To be fair, I also checked out what other spam comments show up from the IP address “193.254.234.60″ and another one came up linking to a forum to “win4lin.net” which just seems completely empty (screenshot below).
My personal conclusion is Bloggin-Ads is not a spammer but he may potentially know this spammer who is doing this for various websites it seems. Feel free to do a quick search through your comments for the IP address listed above and see if you find any other websites.
It looks like DirectAgents.com is teaming up once again to hold another affiliate marketing contest with even better prizes than the other contest they are currently holding. So, if you participate in that one, you should definitely join this one!
DirectAgents.com is making their way through the internet and taking it by storm! In their latest contest, they have teamed up with VistaPrint for an affiliate marketing challenge to give away some amazing prizes.
What are the prizes you ask? Well, let’s get right into it because you guys should know exactly what you are trying to win!
The Amazing Prizes:
1st Place – A Trip for Two to the Caribbean. But the difference between the last contest and this one is the fact that you get your choice to pick from five fabulous destinations. And the islands include: Jamaica, St. Lucia, Cabo San Lucas, Dominican Republic or the Bahamas.
I don’t know about you guys but I’ve always wanted to check out the Bahamas or Dominican Republic. I heard it’s beautiful, there’s tons of fun and I’m sure there are plenty of beautiful women there too!
And ladies, I’m sure there are plenty of good looking guys too!
And for you couples, take your first or maybe second honeymoon you deserve!
2nd place – A Brand New Sony Vaio or Macbook. Lord, oh, lord! I have a Sony Vaio so I know that it’s great, especially for those into the entertainment functions on the computer. On the other hand, I think Macbooks are the “in” laptop to get.
Either way, you’re not spending over $1,000 to get these great laptops, you can simply win one!
3rd place – $500 AMEX Gift Card. Damn, $500?! I swear I can buy a pretty good flat screen TV with this. And even if I can’t, I’m sure it’ll pay for most of it.
What would you spend your $500 on?
How To Enter:
The contest is made very simple and easy. The affiliate that drives the most sales for VistaPrint wins.
See? That was as simple as it gets. And if you are an affiliate marketer already, I bet you’re a shoe-in to get one of the prizes. I mean, the worst prize is $500! Man, I’d take that any day!
Deadline:
The contest officially started March 1st but since no one really works on a Sunday, today is just as good as day one. You have 45 days to “get your game on” which takes you half way through April to drive the most sales.
Reason Why You Should Join:
Well, besides the obvious with the amazing prizes and great challenge, you have an opportunity to work with DirectAgents. If you don’t know too much about them, let me tell you a little about them.
They were named America’s fastest growing company by Entrepreneur, Inc and the USPAAC. They’ve become so popular that their company is more than doubled in size within the past 10 months.
DirectAgents have been nothing but friendly and helpful since I found out about them. If you need help, they are more than willing to go out of the way.
And I’ve been with a few companies before and most just send you a default e-mail and nothing more.
On top of that, they don’t have trashy campaigns and offers, they try to keep it classy for moral reasons. That must tell you something right there!
Anyways, feel free to visit the contest page for more information!
