As you guys are aware, I was Designing Blog Headers for FREE but I had a requirement on them. Of course, I will still have the requirement except I’ll be changing one thing: I will design your blog header for your NEW blog as well!
Now before you guys all jump the gun and not fully read this post, I will still require do-follow sitewide backlinks on your blogs footer as long as you use my custom header. (I’ll send you the exact writing after you guys contact me and we work it out). We’ll get that part out of the way in the beginning because a lot of people tend to not read past the first paragraph or two. Matter of fact, some people just read the post title and try to contact me and I have to deny them.
Now the difference between this time and last time is the blog requirements. Previously, I was requesting that you guys have at least 100+ posts or if you didn’t quite have 100, you needed a Pagerank of some sort.
I felt that was pretty challenging for some and unfair as well. I mean, people could take months to get to that point. And I know how it feels.
This time around, I’m going to be changing that a little bit. Your blog just needs to be at least one month old but you have to have been actively updating it. Now, I’m not saying you needed to update it every single day but say you have been actively updating like 4-5 times a week since you started the blog, that’s good enough.
My main concern is you would need to prove to me in some way that you have been, and will continue to, keep the blog updated regularly.
Here are some of the new custom headers examples I have made for people:
So, feel free to contact me if you are interested. Please include your blog information (URL, the age of the blog, how many posts, etc) and what you’re looking for within your header design.
Anyways, I hope you guys take advantage of this.
Please note: I may not be able to get to everybody’s header design depending on how many people contact me. I will try to get to all of them but I cannot guarantee that.
If you’re not including images in your posts then you are definitely missing out on more than just the traffic you could be getting from Google Image Search, you could potentially be losing out on money.
I’m sure most of you guys are aware of Google Image Search, it’s nothing new. It’s basically a search engine by Google targeting images rather than content. Of course, you still have to target keywords to help you with your indexing.
When using images, you just want to put the keywords as the alt tags and you should be able to rank within Google Image Search and it should work similar to how you would normally rank keywords within your content.
Depending on what niche you’re in, you could potentially be making more and getting a lot more traffic. Though, you could always just take advantage of Google Images and focus on getting that traffic specifically.
How? That’s very easy, make an image blog.
Just create a standard Wordpress blog and just start adding pictures while putting your keywords as the alt tags.
Simple enough if you ask me.
Now you want to plug your Adsense on the top of the post, on the side and on the bottom of it. Essentially, the image would be right in the middle of all of it.
You also want to make the image URL as “Post URL” that way when people click on the image, they take you to another post of just the image with your Adsense ads around it.
I have tried this and simply made like 10 posts/pages of just images with a few sentences for each and once you get ranked in Google Images, you will know.
How? Well, first you will see drastic spikes in your traffic (depending on your images and if people are searching for them) and you should see your Adsense increase as well.
I’ll write a more detailed post sometime in the future but essentially using this method and rise and repeating it will keep your earnings steady without you having to do much maintenance after setting it up.
Of course, you can sell the site when you feel the site has reached its peak in earnings too.
Just the other day I was checking out some of my Google Analytics stats and one of my blogs was getting tons of visitors and pageviews from Zimbio. I had completely forgot about Zimbio and how I used it to promote blog content and increase pageviews automatically.
I figured I would address it here because I’m going to start implementing these tactics for my other sites, particularly new ones, and you guys should too.
How to Use Zimbio to Promote Blog Content Automatically
Well, if you guys don’t know about Zimbio, they are a search engine friendly social networking site that let’s you use interactive Wikizines to promote your content. And it’s pretty damn easy setting yourself up for it as well.
First, simply go to Zimbio.com and create a new account (if you haven’t already done so) and towards the end of your registration, they will ask if you want to submit your blog (and or blog RSS Feeds).
Of course, you definitely want to.
Now, you can submit your articles to various Wikizines if you want manually but there is also an “auto-import” option which finds a Wikizine related to your post and submits it for you.
Personally, on particular blogs of mine, I just chose “auto-import” simply because I don’t want to constantly check back to manually import select articles.
If you wanted to submit it manually, they will take all your articles from your feeds and import it and you can search and select whatever Wikizine that fits your topic. And if you can’t find one, you can always just create a brand new one as well.
In addition, if you have images, videos and whatever else within the post, they will import those for you in their images and videos sections so you can additional visitors as well.
The Pros and Cons
The good part is your articles, keywords, images, etc will be highly ranked in search engines, plus, you’ll get the luxury of Zimbio users visiting your site as well.
It’s also extremely easy to do and automated for the lazy people (like me).
The downfall is the fact that if you chose “auto-import” it may submit to a Wikizine that you may not exactly have wanted. For instance, if you wrote a post on basketball or the Boston Celtics, it may put your article under a specific person on the Celtics like Kevin Garnett or something. That might not be what the article is about but he does play for that team.
My Opinions and Thoughts
I really like Zimbio because of the automated system they have and since it’s less work on my behalf, then that’s even better. And for those you guys that are worried about duplicate content, you’ll only get penalized if the duplicate content is within your own site. (I’ll write a future post on that).
Also, I haven’t implemented DatMoney with Zimbio because I feel it probably works best for blogs related to entertainment, sports, movies, music, etc. I may consider adding this blog to it as well just for a test but I don’t think the outcome will be that great.
But who knows until we actually test it out, right?
Well, let me know what you think and if you have tried about Zimbio.
I know a lot of you guys already know how to cloak affiliate links manually or maybe you already have an affiliate cloaking plugin such as the Ninja Affiliate Plugin (like I do) but if you don’t know how to or don’t want to pay any money, here’s how to do it.
I think there are a few different ways you can go about cloaking affiliate links manually but I think the easiest way is to just redirect your visitors.
First, I would open up a blank notepad and copy and paste the following html code:
<html>
<head>
<title>TITLE OF YOUR AFFILIATE LINK</title>
<meta name=”robots” content=”noindex,nofollow”>
<script> window.location=”YOUR AFFILIATE LINK GOES HERE“; </script>
<meta http-equiv=”refresh” content=”1; url=”YOUR AFFILIATE LINK GOES HERE “>
</head>
<body>
<p align=”center”>You are being taken to the correct page.
<br>If the page doesn’t load after 5 seconds, <a href=”YOUR AFFILIATE LINK GOES HERE“>click here</a>.
</p>
</body>
</html>
Now, this is basically a redirect link with the option of having your visitor link through if the page doesn’t load correctly. But that rarely happens but at least you’ll have the backup just incase.
The only things you have to change are the title of the redirect page and simply insert your affiliate link in the proper areas (which I highlighted in red for you guys).
Once you get that done, just save the notepad document with an easy name to remember for the affiliate link and add “.php” as the extension.
So, say you’re cloaking a link for MarketLeverage or something, just save the notepad document as “marketleverage.php” so it’s easy to remember.
Now that you have the redirect file, you want to put that onto your server. I would suggest creating a subfolder titled “goto” or “go” and put the file in there.
Okay, you’re just about done. Now, when you link to your cloaked affiliate link, just use the URL as “http://www.yoursite.com/goto/marketleverage.php” and whenever someone clicks on that, it will redirect them to your affiliate link.
I hope that’s easy enough for you guys. Let me know if you have any questions!
Here comes another edition of DatMoney Weekly Updates to get you guys all caught up on where I stand on some of my online entrepreneur projects and what’s been new.
Where Have I Been? – Honestly, I’ve been going through a few personal issues that have taken my mind off of things and it’s hard trying to focus when things get you down, you know? I haven’t had my head on my shoulders for a while but I’m trying to get things back so I can get rolling but again, it’s hard.
On top of that, I’ve been working on new projects which I will mention further on this post.
I’m A Little Behind – If you sent me an e-mail within the past week or so, more than likely you haven’t received a response from me. Again, I haven’t really had my head on my shoulders and on top of that, some of my personal issues have been getting me down a lot so I’ve also lacked motivation to do anything. And it’s not only online stuff that, for the record.
Password to $100/day from Adsense Sent Out – I believe I sent out a mass e-mail last week or the week before to those e-mail subscribers that have been active and been patiently waiting.
If you haven’t received the password and you subscribed before one week ago, please let me know. My e-mail might have went straight to your spam or you might’ve deleted it for some odd reason?
Extending FREE Banner Designs – I decided that I’m going to extend this offer but not exactly where until when. Of course, you guys do need to meet the requirements and a lot of people were denied simply because they were looking for a head for a brand new blog.
Please read the requirements at “I Will Design Your Blog Header for FREE!”
Working on Amazon Sites – I recently signed up to promote Amazon products and someone gave me an idea to build niche sites for it. It’s almost like how I build my niche Adsense sites or maybe how some affiliate marketers create landing pages.
I’m testing a few things out because I heard you can make quite a decent amount of money with Amazon. Plus, it’s a trustworthy and known site so people won’t hesitate on buying it through them.
So, I’ve hit a speed bump with personal issues and I’m sure it happens to the best of us but it just depends on how we cope with it. I’ve been trying my best but when you are simply too distracted, you aren’t as productive and that’s how I’ve been for a little while. I’m still like that but I’m out to prove things to people… and that’s what is giving me that little motivation I need.
