Password Protected My $100/Day Adsense Earning

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008 | Ramblings with

I got a few e-mails requesting that I don’t reveal my secrets because it would not only hurt myself but hurt those other people doing it as well. The people that contacted me, I respect highly so I decided to password protect that post. Unfortunately, those of you guys subscribed via e-mail already have it plus, those 20 commentators also know how to do it.

I was pondering if I should have deleted that post because I did in fact hurt my own chances with my earnings so I thought that I should not give away that information just for free. I’m not going to charge anything, matter of fact, I may not let anyone else read that post. The important part of the post was the fact that I hit my goal and I just wanted to share my accomplishment.

Some people say I just hurt myself in revealing my secret and that may be so but I doubt every single reader will actually go about and do it exactly how I said to. Plus, it’s not like every person wants to do it or has the time to do it in the first place.

Anyways, I wanted to apologize to the few people that sent me private messages and e-mails, I didn’t mean to expose your secret as well, I just wanted to share with some of my loyal readers to give them a chance to earn a few extra dollars.

So, for now, if you didn’t get a chance to read that post, the only thing that matters is the fact that I hit another accomplishment by making $100/day strictly from Google Adsense.

Heh. I am not into MMO but it’s funny how when someone actually posts real stuff people around immediately try to shut him. Makes me think how useless hundreds of other posts across the niche are. :) Well, it’s your choice but I don’t think “fixing” that is good decision.

“I wanted to tell you something good but decided that money are more important” is not very trust inspiring (other may view it as a sign of hardcore businessman thou).

PS That post is google-cached btw. Might want to fix that if you are backing on it. :)

    Jay,
I agree with protecting it, but make people be subscribed to your email for the password. And I also agree with Rarst above that people in the MMO niche talk very little about MMO!! Good for you for providing a post that people can actually use. At the end of the day, it is you vs. the world. You just need to balance the loss of your profits vs. the value of becoming one of the few in the MMO world that actually provide valuable content.
Personally, I don’t think you “shocked the world” with the content of that post. If those people that emailed you want to be in the MMO niche, they better bring more to the table then just that secret.

Ok jay.. I have to call total B/S on this one. I read your post. It’s not some hidden secret that no one has ever heard of. Is this one of your stunts to get more people to read you site. Isn’t there some integrity for your readers and your subscribers? Give me a break dude!

Rarst - Yeah, I was stuck man. Again, I was just trying to share with my readers my accomplishment and even how to do it and then I got a few e-mails like “Dude, what are you doing?!” lol…

Kouji - It was nothing new but you just had to do a little work.

Eathan - Nah man, I swear I got a few e-mails saying I shouldn’t have told people HOW I did it but rather just mention my accomplishment. There’s no stunts here, I’ll even delete the post completely so no one ever knew it was there if you want. I just left it with the title to let people know I hit one of my goals.

Rome - You weren’t the only one either. Apparently, a few of my readers do the same type method and didn’t want extra competition.

Sharing is one part of the mind of a millionaires….

    Thanks for sharing……

Statistic shows that from 100 people who buy a book, just 10% of it will read it till the last drop and from that 10%, only 1% will do what the book exactly teach…

    Thanks.

Well, I’ll own up to one of the people who emailed Jay too. Its true that quite a few people already know this and have been using it for a while. My main concern was the spammers. Its hard to compete against automated code. The more spammers learn about it the less effective it will become.

Of course Jay did not tell everything you need with this. There is a little more to it if you are going to do it right than what was in the post :-)

I dont now what the big deal is Youre not the first to mention how to do this. People need to relax and widen their blog reading horizons, youre not the first person … to post about. So my thinking is just let it ride, besides that 97& of the people who read it wont do it

Fortunately I got a chance to read that post. Actually getting the finer details of how you make $100 is a nice share. Sooner or later, whether here or somewhere else, someone is going to spill the beans. Just please don’t let others talk you into clamming up.

    Personally I’m glad you did.
