unethical

Just like the title says, “would you guys be interested in unethical tactics to increase traffic and make money online?” I’m not one who really preaches blackhat methods of any sort but I’m not going to lie either, I have tried out a bunch of different methods. So, instead of just posting this, I figured I’d see if anyone was interested.

For instance, I wrote post “Should you set up a porn site to make money online?” and I got a lot of people who were definitely interested in it. A few contacted me directly asking me questions and a few people lashed out at me because I brought up that question.

I even wrote a post on how to make money online with porn in a step by step post which has not been published here . I’m still deciding if I should or not. But that’s just one example of something people may think is unethical.

Personally, I don’t but I’m just not sure if I wanted to publish the post or not.

Now, the actual unethical tactics would include some blackhat methods for SEO, certain ways to trick different systems to get traffic and various ways to make money online. But again, I want to emphasize that some are pretty shady, some are short term things and also all of these methods work.

I’m a curious minded person so I like to test things out even if it’s blackhat stuff or unethical but that doesn’t mean I will continue to do it. Matter of fact, there are a bunch of unethical tactics that I’ve read about, know about but I decided it’s just not for me. Either that or I was simply too busy at that moment and didn’t test it out personally.

I know a lot of people have high ethics and everything but on the other hand, tons of people could careless.

So, my question, would you guys be interested in unethical tactics to increase traffic to your site(s) or make some extra cash on the side?

    Hey Jay,

I say make your money, don’t let your money make you. If one has a talent or propensity towards unethical tactics, then let the chips fall where they may. As I have stated B4, writing erotica sort of fell into my lap. It introduced me to a world where I could make $100-$200/day providing niche content. There will always be a market for good content, adult or non adult. As far as unethical or black hat tactics, I want to rest on my reputation, and not be known for less than savvy measures. I know of lots of Black hat seo tricks, but I don’t do them, I’m a chicken and afraid of getting banned from Google, et al. Besides, I was taught all money isn’t good money. LOL.

I don’t really do well with blackhat methods, I don’t like to go into those shady areas. I would like to see it to criticize though!

I wouldn’t consider porn unethical. It’s a service that people will get one way or the other. If I could make some good money with it, you better believe I would.

Also, what most people consider blackhat SEO isn’t unethical either. It’s the same thing as “whitehat” SEO, just automated.

What I would consider unethical is cracking, phishing, etc. I wouldn’t do that.

Sell Porn Make Money // August 14th, 2008 at 10:59 am

YES!! Ok, now I am going to go back and read the post. But the answer to the headline question is yes… …

Ok, so I read the post and here is my suggestion.
Why not put together a few tips in a downloadable link on a post… that way I can download the tips and those that don’t want them don’t need to get them.

Keeping my fingers crossed for some cool ideas… I just pray they don’t require a coders brain.

I guess that would all depend on how unethical it was. Since porn does NOT impress me much I wouldn’t even think of going that route.

It is as you say a huge blogoshere out there and I am absolutely positive others would have no problem with it at all.

So what ya got up your sleeve my friend??

I’m not a fan of blackhat techniques, but I think anyone involved in SEO/SEM should be wise to what blackhaters are doing. So please share your knowledge/experience with us.

For all who responded, unfortunately I am sworn to secrecy about what goes on in the Black Hat Forum. I can not share any of their techniques. If you are interested in Black Hat techniques or forum, you can google black hat and go from there. I apologize.

Of course we’re interested…because when it’s all said and done what matters at the end of the day is how much you earned. Ethical or not,the guy with the fattest wallet usually gets more respect in the game.

Now with that being said, yes there are tons of ethical ways to get paid, but that old saying is simply not true:

“What you don’t know can and usually will hurt you…”

So it’s best to at least know what’s going on out there ;)
