As most of you guys already know, I set a goal to make $3,000 this month with a Budget of $100 . I did this because I wanted to get past the laziness and procrastination that’s been holding back my potential. Plus, I’m trying to get past that hump of making only $1,000/month online .

So, let me start with my first update.

To make $3,000 in one month, I generally need to make $100/day (slightly less because there’s 31 days in July) and up to this point, I should be around $1,000. I’m actually a little behind only because I’ve been working on a few projects that have taken some extra time. But all these projects that I’m working on should kick up my profits in chunks.

And yes, I’ll be revealing it all in detail so make sure you subscribe to my RSS Feeds so you don’t miss out! I mean, I’ll reveal it in so much detail that you guys should be able to replicate what I have done and make the same amount.

But with my first update, let’s say that people love links, backlinks, pagerank, dofollow, etc. And with that, you should take advantage with that. Don’t worry; you’re not taking advantage of them but rather their need for links. In actuality, you’re helping them out… for a small fee, of course.

If you have any type of pagerank (the higher the better) you can sell links on your blog and tons of people will be willing to pay you a decent amount. I know this sounds self-explanatory but a lot of people (including me) don’t care too much for Google Pagerank and it’s meaning but if you can use it to your advantage, then why not? (Almost like how people continue to flaunt their Alexa rankings even though it doesn’t mean a damn thing!)

Now, you can also make money selling links on other people’s blogs!

What in the hell? How?

Well, the dofollow attribute is your friend. Especially if the dofollow attribute is on someone elses’ blog. And a lot of people use this on their commenting system so they reward their commentators with dofollow backlinks to their sites. Of course, you have to find the internal pages that actually have pagerank. This idea came from Jason a.k.a. The University Kid so you can read how to do it here .

Instead of the service he recommended, I decided to take the lazier route and sell a list of dofollow blogs with pagerank that range from PR2-PR6. I did this because I didn’t want to spend additional time providing the service, I get a flat rate upfront and the responsibility is completely up to the buyer to make the comments. If their comments don’t get approved, well, it’s not my fault.

Now, if you don’t care too much for Google Pagerank like some people , then you shouldn’t care about selling links. Just make sure you do it privately and not through a middleman company. I would suggest that once you get any type of pagerank to sell some links and that could potentially be a couple hundred dollars extra each month alone.

There is a slight trick to make quite a few blogs and get Pagerank for all of them and just sell links which I’ll get to later. And no, you don’t need to update those blogs regularly or monthly once you get that Pagerank.

Quick tip: You always want to get a long term buyer when it comes to links but do not sell permanent links or ads on your blog! But the reason you want a long term buyer for links is because of the fact that your Pagerank can decrease anytime Google feels like demoting you. Just keep that in mind.

But I’m sorry, I have to cut this update link post short because I’m a little tied up but I will continue the link money making idea(s) and my road to $3,000 this month on a $100 budget . Again, I would subscribe to my RSS Feeds so you don’t miss out.

By the way, I have yet to spend any money from my $100 budget which is a good sign for those on a low starting income to make money online. :D

That stuck out like a sore thumb LOL Works great if you own your blog.

I have one at a PR5 and hate to give it up but I can’t sell links cuase Wordpress has a thing about making money off them.

Especially if the dofollow attribute is on someone elses’ blog.

Thanks for the update Jay. Links and ads are a powerful money making option. I do sell permanent links on occasion though as sometimes it’s a great selling point for a promotion. Yes, forming long time relationships is huge in link/ad selling. Take care.

Jay - you are right about regular updates and page rank. I have a Squidoo lens with PR5 and I hardly ever touch it.
