I don’t want to say it’s unfortunate, but it’s pretty unfortunate. I hate deciding from two great prizes for the next contest that I will be hosting, sponsored by the one and only Market Leverage. I let you guys vote between the Nintendo Wii and iPod Touch and if I counted right (or wrong), the majority of the votes went in favor for the Nintendo Wii.
I know I originally favored the Wii before the voting begun but as time passed, I started to favor the iPod Touch a little bit. I mean, I was looking at specs for it and it’s a great device. I also had countless discussions with people on which was better and more helpful, etc. When it came down to it, from a professional standpoint of a webmaster and online entrepreneur, the iPod Touch was definitely the way to go.
But then it hit me, I can’t win my own contest so why does it matter? That’s why I left it up to you guys to vote because one of you guys will be the winner of this great prize. Well, let’s hope it’s one of my regular readers instead of a drive-by contestant.
I apologize for those iPod Touch voters, I was truly favoring that product. I know I can overturn the decision but I’m the type to let my readers speak, and if you speak enough or loud enough then you’ll be heard. And according to the votes, you have been heard so the Nintendo Wii will be the prize for my upcoming contest.
I haven’t decided how I’m going to run the contest just yet. The last couple of contests I ran was fairly easy. I did it that way because who likes to enter a contest that requires you to do so much, right? But I may consider doing something that will benefit the contestants as well as myself, and of course, our one and only sponsor, Market Leverage.
I like to come up with creative contests or at least something fun. If you guys have any ideas, feel free to toss out the ideas, maybe that will help me in deciding what the contest will be about or how I’m going to run it. Either way, I’ll make up my mind this week so feel free to check back or just subscribe to my RSS Feeds. Who knows, maybe I’ll make that as a requirement. 
(And look out all Market Leverage sponsored contest blogs, I’ll be entering ALL of them since I can’t enter my own!)
Well I would love to win either of these two. They are actually 2 of the 3 biggest tech things I want right now. The third is a laptop. But personally I would have voted for an ipod touch…because they are SOOOOO freaking awesome!

I voted for the Wii! We have been subscribers to your feed via e-mail! My idea for your contest would be something as to where you ask a question or give a topic and have the participants blog or comment with their answer, also of course posting a link back to your blog (hence more advertising for you as well). This way you would get more “genuine” participation and not just “Pick me” or “Cool prize”… or a bunch of contest spammers… Just my 2 cents..

Mr. Javo did I neat one, you had to be subscribed by email, and for 10 days he gave a letter each post in his newletter, you had to figure out the 10 letter word, as soon as you knew it, you let him know and the first 3 correct guessers were the winner. I know cuz I was one of them!
