I know we all need web hosting if we’re planning on taking this webmaster stuff seriously, so of course, you need to find out which hosting server is best for you, right? Well, I stumbled across this web hosting reviews site that breaks down almost every hosting company you can think of.
The interesting part of this site is the fact that all users have the ability to post their own opinion on different hosting servers. They have a rating system on a 1 to 5 scale on various criteria’s which range anywhere from user-friendliness, quality, price to tech support.
I was pretty impressed with the site because you would think almost every review is bad or almost every review is good but it’s a big mix. And I decided to go under the “Best Blog Hosting” tab to see which hosting server and it was BlueHost.
To all the BlueHost users, don’t give your hopes up! It only got a mediocre 3.2 stars out of 5. Matter of fact, a lot of reviews trashed it especially for the tech and customer service.
Ouch!
Of course I was curious what they said on my hosting, Lunarpages, it seemed just about the same as BlueHost. That just tells me not everyone will be happy with their hosting.
Webhostinggeeks.com breaks down every aspect that I could have ever thought of about hosting and that includes important web hosting articles , domain stuff, best web hosting and they even break down the different types of sites that the best hosting is for.
For example, if you run a forum they have the best hosting listed specifically for that. If you’re looking to blog they have the best hosting listed for that. And you see how the pattern goes.
And for all those people who plan on running an adult website, blog, forum or whatever, you have to keep in mind that not all hosting companies support that. But don’t worry, they also have links to adult web hosting sites so you can pick.
Personally, I’m not going to rate any hosting on the site but it was definitely an interesting read to see what people have to say about my own hosting. You guys should check it out and possibly leave your feedback if you want to!

I use an Australian web host (webcity), which is reasonably cheap and hasn’t failed me yet…
I haven’t had any massive spikes in traffic yet, however in the future I defiantely hope to
I run a financial blog, so having good web hosting was a matter of security and finance for me. I chose the best and cheapest one I could find
Nice find. I think I have visited that site before. Can’t remember. I use GoDaddy.com. It is a nice webhosting company.

This sounds good and I checked it out. I don’t know why they don’t include Dreamhost however!
@ Agent 001 – you use godaddy for hosting? I’m pretty sure if you have anything to do with theme that requires your email address they will spam you for life.
Yea I gotta check this out. I’m looking for a new hosting provider. Thanks!
WebHostingGeeks is a pretty nice website that can be very helpful to people searching for a hosting provider. Nice review.
