I think I’m a pretty nice guy, for the most part. But we all have our limits, don’t we? I mean, I’m willing to help people individually when they contact me on social networking sites, instant messenger(s) or by e-mail when and if I can. But people also have to remember that I get quite a few e-mails while more and more people are starting to contact me via instant messenger since I added the info on my contact page, so it might take a little while to reply.
Again, I’m willing to help in the areas that I can but there are some people that are pretty needy. Now, I don’t mind needy but when you start demanding things or pressuring me to get back to you in 30 seconds, then that’s where the problem relies.
You would then turn needy into greedy. And greedy in the sense that you’re looking for help and there are people nice enough to get back to you but then you want more, more, more and get a little annoying. There is a reason why people say greedy is the root to all evil.
But I try to stay humble and I’m hoping you guys do to. Without you guys, there would really be no DatMoney.com.
I like networking just like the next person and I contact people for help all the time. I mean, I’m always bothering Jason a.k.a. TUK and Rome Uy on instant messenger for crap, asking questions or just chatting. I mean, it’s great to form relationships online until people start trying to sell you crap on a consistent basis when you said no the first time, they keep contacting you for the same thing when they already know what the answer is going to be, you answer their question once and they ask it five more times, etc..
I’m sorry it seems like I’m ranting but I’m busy just like the next person so all I ask is for those people who contact me for help, I really don’t mind it. But don’t keep pushing me expecting me to jump when you say ‘jump’, you know?
Side note: No one guessed the exact number I had in mind for the USB pen. But Tom a.k.a. Standoutblogger and Kristinia a.k.a. Loving Heart Mommy guessed the closest with 15. The number I picked was 12. Since there was only one prize to give, I went to random.org and let them decide between Tom and Kristinia and it favored Tom.
