Here we are again with another contest, but I decided not to hold it in the month of March because there were so many going on that my contest might get overlooked! So, I’m going to introduce to you guys the “Get Traffic” contest! You can potentially get your blog/site viewed by over 310,000 unique visitors and that’s not even including RSS Feed subscribers!

First of all, we all know if you want to make money online you’re going to need traffic, right? I always emphasize how important traffic is so that’s why I decided to put together this contest. So, what’s going to be featured? Well, let’s go over the prizes!

I know this post is pretty long but I had to include people’s traffic stats so you’ll know how much these prizes are actually worth!

For some reason I’ve been saying that since I bought a very cheap ad spot on his blog. Oh yeah, I called him crazy because he was selling ad spots for like $5.95 a month!)

(Please note: If you are already subscribed via e-mail, you’re already entered in this contest! Just make to check for additional clues and to see if you won!)

3. For every 2 comments made from now through the end of the contest (May 9th) you will get (1 entry). Of course, there will be a max limit of 6 comments/3 entries per day.

    I am not trying to be a wet blanket, but this seems like way to much work which in turn takes away the focus of your own blog.

    The folks you listed are not on the top of everyones list regardless of there Alexa Ranking as my site beats most of them on uniques and pageviews in a much, much shorter life span.

    Blogzilla – It’s not too much work, it’s actually pretty simple.

    But it says you’re getting about 8,000 unique visitors a month and most of them come from Entrecrard which in turn tells me you have a lot of “fake traffic.” So, I highly doubt you’re getting more traffic than these blogs listed.

    wow, what a cool idea for a contest that works all round. The winner gets a pile of strong web traffic, you and all the other websites get some strong link action and everyone who enters wins by having more comments out there and of course being subscribed to some great blogs.

    Louis – Yes, you can enter each one of your blog(s) BUT they all have to be at least one month old, indexed in search engines and have at least ten posts. That way people don’t just create blogs simply to enter the contest.

    Also, keep in mind that if one of your blogs are randomly chosen, that one picked is the one getting reviewed/getting the ad spot, you don’t get to pick out of all the blogs you have.

    I just dont still understand why people do stuff like this., instead of focusing on writing *quality* and *stellar* content and focusing on marketing those. this is all short term tricks and wont really give you too much value in the long run. yeah, it’ll get you some traffic and some seo help… but. *sigh* pls DONT sign me up :(

    Vishal – Well, here’s the thing, I feel I do write quality and unique content on my site and a lot of people will probably agree with me. This marketing technique is to get people to check out my site, and if they like my content enough, they’ll continue to come back and join my contest as well… sort of like rewarding my readers.

    And I understand there will be some people who I will never see again after the contest, but I’m hoping my content is good and intriguing enough for them to come back.

    Hey, there’s nothing much to lose for me or the people who enter my contest.

    Don’t you worry, you never entered my contest officially. But I guess you don’t read posts either, huh? :P
