I have this site site gameuber.com a month ago my site sits on 521,450 in rank after a couple of weeks it began to decrease(increase to million spot), when it reached 600,000 in that margin I realize that something was not right as I have been receiving a good amount of traffic I even had an article on that day that hits 2,500 + visitors so I was so happy that it will move its rank but to my surprise it went up to 650,000 in that margin. I was clueless, what the heck happened? So I made some further investigation because my site sits now on 698,088 (while posting this comment) and I am very much worried because I checked the next month's preview it will hit 1,028,697 in ranking so I downloaded the Alexa's Top 1,000,000 Sites in CSV format (they say Updated Daily you can download the list in their site and check what rank your site sits) and I can't believe it my site is nowhere to be found in the freaking list. I've been working my ass off to get my site rank but not be to be on the list is the worst thing that could happen and I know that there should be a rank for my site because traffic is consistent in my site as far as I know. Just as long as you're getting visitors, readers, making money, whatever it is that makes you continue to blog, then that should be enough. And to comment on if you should change your blog, I guess it all depends on what you're looking to do. Even if your blog is serious, there are thousands, millions of people who probably have the same point of view as you... you just need to know where to find them, that's all.
