If you have a website, product or simply something you want others to know about, you have to promote it, right? Because you could have the best product, or you could be the best writer in the world and no one would know it. So, how would you do this online? How do you truly generate traffic to your website?I’m always emphasizing how important it is to build traffic to your site. And more importantly, to build your readership of people that will continue to come back. And although I continue to find out new things throughout my online ventures, you can learn from my mistakes but more importantly, you want to learn what has worked for me so you can use the same techniques.

I mean, I’ve been preaching “Help me help you with blogging tips through my personal experiences” for sometime and I’ll go the distance for my readers.

So, what I did, I decided to purchase an eBook titled “How to Generate Traffic to your Website” written by Stephane Grenier, because I wanted to learn more. I mean, we all can’t know everything; we have to start from somewhere, right? And although my methods do help build traffic, just by reading the first 30-40 pages of this eBook, I was in shock on how much I have missed out on.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I never claimed to know everything. My blog is about trial and error so you guys can learn through my success and my failures. So, before I continue I highly suggest that you get yourself a copy of “How to Generate Traffic to your Website.” I mean, I didn’t even finish reading it because I was so anxious to tell you guys about it.

And don’t worry, you will see another post after I have read the entire eBook and confirm that all the tips have helped me. But believe me, the longer you wait for me to test it out; the longer you’ll be wasting in building traffic to your own site.

So, how did I manage to choose this particular eBook out of all the ones out there now?

Well, the thing about this eBook is the fact that it’s not like all the other ones you’ve probably seen like “how to make $5,000 extra each week by buying this book!” or “how to get 1 million visitors in your first two weeks!” I was convinced to get this eBook – besides the fact that it comes from a very accomplished professional who has a proven track record – but also he basically tells you the core fundamentals (different strategies, the pros and cons, helpful suggestions, online marketing tools, etc) on how to proceed on building traffic.

And yes, a lot of people tend to overlook the fundamentals and try to jump into the deep end of the pool. Now, before you jump into it, learn how to swim first. You’ll get a lot further knowing what to do.

But the selling point for me to get this eBook was the fact that it wasn’t like all those spammy-type eBooks out there. It gives you realistic and proven tips for the long run, rather than the short term deal. Again, the fundamentals that people often overlook. Matter of fact, I have seen quite a few eBooks and all of them tend to only be a few pages long, but not “How to Generate Traffic to your Website.” This eBook goes into so much depth that it tries to fill as much information within the 138 pages. And so far, every single page has been useful information for me.

I would give you some excerpts, but I think there are copyright laws preventing me from doing that. But instead, I’ll list some of the main topics this eBook covers. It ranges from SEO (keyword strategies, Google Trends, Meta-data) to Content, Blogging, Social Networking,Web Directories, Google Adwords and more.

This eBook, in essence, is an informative resource and guide for various online traffic generating techniques. Because that’s where it starts – with building traffic and your readership.
