1st DM Contest: Cash, EC and Custom Banner Designs!

Yes, it’s official! I will be hosting my first contest EVER as a blogger. I’m doing this in an attempt to raise my RSS feed subscribers and encourage daily visitors to subscribe (if they haven’t already done so). So, click here to subscribe.

First, the prizes. Instead of giving away a set amount of cash or Entrecard Credits, I’ve decided to donate into a pool EACH time someone subscribes to my RSS Feeds. Currently, I’m sitting on 127 subscribers, so I’ll just base it off that number.

For each new subscriber:

I will add $0.50 into the pot
Also, I will add 20 Entrecard Credits into the pot

I know this may not sound like a lot, but the more subscribers, the more money you can possibly win. Though, just incase, I do have to put a cap on this (even though I don’t foresee it happening) but once the pot reaches $300.00 and 12,000 Entrecard Credits, the pot will stop there.

First place will receive 75% of the pot
Second place will receive 25% of the pot
Third place will receive a custom made banner design by me (and possibly Entrecard Credits)

This is how to enter:

1. Subscribe to my RSS Feed (obviously)
2. Write a post about the contest linking to DatMoney.com and this contest post
3. Leave a comment here when you have done so

You will get 2 entries for entering and an extra entry for subscribing via e-mail (if you are already subscribed via e-mail, you will automatically be given 1 entry.)

I do understand that there are some people subscribed already who are NOT bloggers, so obviously they will not need the Entrecard credits. That will be donated to the place below. And if all three happen to not have blogs (or Entrecard account), then I will create an extra place strictly for that.

I know I won’t be able to track all those who subscribe, but it is at your best interest to subscribe as much as you can and tell as many people because that’ll just put more money in the pot for you to win!

Once you subscribe and write a post about the contest, please leave a comment here.

Lastly, I only pay through Paypal so please keep that in mind.

This contest will end on February 29, 2008 midnight (Eastern Time).

And I will be having monthly contests so stick around for those! It’s hard to beat getting good excellent content :-D with a mix of humor and prizes! How can you beat that?
