No exchange links necessary, but definitely appreciated! So, I want to thank all of those people that took an extra second out of their busy day to return the favor. I decided that I’m going to be doing a “FREE Like Love” sometime between every six months (if I remember) because Technorati authorities are only based on people who link to you every six months.
I think I got all of your comments, and if I missed one, let me know. Of course, if you came to my blog strictly for the link love, that is completely fine, but if I happened to miss you, well… you wouldn’t know it because you probably are never coming back. So ha!
I did this for various reasons: I wanted to check out new blogs (which I got a chance to check out everybody’s and also commented on a few too!), wanted to meet new people and give back to the blogging community. But of course, there are other reasons too.
I wanted to see how some of the bloggers would react, if they expected some sort of catch to it, if they would link back, or if they would even bother reading ANY other post on my blog besides the “Link Love for EVERYONE.”
So, I had mixed results, but overall, I have to be happy about it. I never asked anyone to subscribe to my RSS feeds, favorite me in Technorati, or exchange links, yet, there were at least a handful of people who took their time out to read other posts, linked back to me or even help spread the word about the FREE Link Love.
And if one out of ALL of you guys happened to subscribe to my RSS feeds or favorite me in Technorati, then I have to be happy about that. Because like I said, I have just been trying to give back to the blogging community, meet new people and possibly help them out as much as I can. Because as a blogger, we cannot do this by ourselves so I’m letting you guys know I appreciate the support and will continue to do my best to help.
So, enough with this whole long speech like I’m winning some kind of award… it doesn’t go to me, it goes to all of you!
