BloggrZ seems to be like a mixture of a couple of social news sites – probably Digg and SU best suits the comparison. But BloggrZ seems to be less than two weeks old and if you look at the sites that have been submitted so far, it includes some big names like ShoeMoney, Problogger and JohnChow.
It’s an interesting concept, though, like I said, it’s fairly new. So, there isn’t too many blogs that are inserted in the site… just yet. But if you look at some of the big name bloggers, then you have to think that it’s worth checking out.
I mean, why ‘Stumble’ all over the internet for blogs you love so much when you can get all that content within BloggrZ?
Some of the downfalls I see so far are the facts that the toolbar is only available for Firefox browsers, the big name blog sites will probably almost always stay on the frontpages and how the site is fairly new. So, if you’re trying to build traffic to your site, this probably isn’t the best way.
Well, at least not yet. But stay tuned because I’m sure once it gets bigger, the traffic would be coming in just like StumbleUpon and Digg traffic.
But feel free to add me as a friend on there when and if you sign up!

I’m not the only one who thinks http://www.bloggingzoom.com when I look at bloggerZ am I?
Personally, I don’t see it. I see bloggingzoom more like a digg/mixx type of thing. But I guess that’s just me…

I am rather disappointed that they make you login to see the top blogs, stumbleupon gives so much more functionality to guests than BloggerZ does.
Ryan - yeah, right now, because they are extremely new, I wouldn’t be shocked if lots of people were disappointed in it, at first.
But we’ll see just how big it does get. I mean, look at mixx.com, people compared it to digg.com and it seems to be going pretty well…

Just wanted to thank you very much for the review of BloggrZ.com. You are right - we do not have a lot of blogs in our database now (it was launched only last week). Since it was bootstrapped, there is no huge budget to market it,etc. Jay is right, the only reason we need to make people login and submit their blog to see “top blogs” is because there are not enough blogs sumbitted yet! That is why review, support and participation of blog like yours and your readers means a lot. And, this is very critical for its success.
Thanks a lot again,
Pranaya
